About

Glow is a UK musical collaboration featuring Dan Moody and a host of talented female vocalists including Sarah K Panton and Sorcha Claire.

Inspired by a host of artists and styles, Glow can be defined as a mix of ambient, alternative music with striking vocals and melodies.

The collaborative was initially formed in 2013 with the first track 'The Teacher' written and produced by Dan and Sarah. Since then the music has flowed and now Glow features the talents of Sorcha who wrote 'New Age' and provided the vocals and lyrics for the track 'All to Play For'.

Dan began his music career playing drums with local (Croydon) band Genshi. He wrote a lot of the songs and started to develop his guitar technique over time (mainly inspired by Johnny Marr, Nick McCabe and Robert Smith). After a long stint with Genshi, he carried on writing and developing songs at home and this is where Glow was born.

After contacting Sarah, she added vocals over his existing musical arrangements via file sharing. This lead to one of their first tracks 'Dark Skies' being featured on an album by another collaborative project Vortex Ascent which has received some great reviews.

Short listed to take part in a Live Project UK talent showcase, and performing at a number of prestigious venues in and around the London region, Sorcha Claire is beginning to create quite a buzz through her unique sound.

The release of her EP titled Take It Away and her collaboration with Glow have helped increase her profile further and you can find out more information on this as well as forthcoming gig dates by visiting her website  or you can follow her on Facebook or Twitter.

Kate Taylor-Davies is an actor, voice-over artist, audio describer and classically trained singer whose recent work includes the short film "A Moment" (short-listed for the Virgin Media Shorts this year), "The Memory of Water" with Alun Armstrong, and "Cymbeline" at The Swan, Stratford.

Musically, Kate has recently completed recording vocals for Guntrip's album, "Woman", and lending her writing and voice-over skills to SDI Media. She is co-founder at Talking Sense Audio Description Services and can e found on Faceook and Twitter.
